Anyone ever go down to Woodward and 11 1/2 across from Murray's (every night) or the "Redline" meets at 11 mile rd and Inkster on Friday nights?? There is also a weekly meeting spot at Hawthorns on the east side of Woodward just north of 14 mile if any one wants to come out on Thursday or Saturday night. I'm usually out there 3-4 times a week.

Anyways, a lot of you should check out www.xceedspeed.com and start coming out to the Redline meets at 11 mile road and Inkster behind the 7-11 on Friday nights. The site, as stated in the title page, is just that, Michigan's sport compact community. Anyone who's anyone is usually on there. Most of the people come to the Redline meets as well at the above mentioned place^. The two Ferrari's from Mischief Dynasty showed up two weeks ago (6-3-05)

Sounds good, however, most of these people are very close to Lapeer. I'm inbetween both, but Milan is a nicer dragway IMO. I don't have a cobalt, but I would love to come.

Farmington Hills here, I hardly drive my SS around since I'm driving to school, its already dinged up from highway driving. So I'm driving a Park Ave. around for a while unless I'm driving around the area. I live right next to the Redline meets, and I hear them every Friday night after work.

as far as the location.. i think novi would be better, I75 is full of potholes and i can only assume the roads are just as bad. novi is good cause the roads are really nice, but there are a bunch of cops and some construction over that way.

On sundays it is tight for me so I can do saturdays but I dont get out of work til like 5pm every saturday so we can meet up for like dinner after like 6 or so and if some people are late its ok as long as people can manage to be able to meet with us

But please do remember that I live in Davison which is like 50 miles or more from Novi I know alot of you are mainly for the southeastern michigan but please remember there are more people that due live north of oakland county..

Yeah, when I move up there, I may have to rethink the wheel size, lol. And we only get 92 at BP. 93 doesn't exist. Everywhere I else is 91.

Course this is one of the cheaper places to buy gas in the country from the sound it. Been hearing about these gas spikes in Jackson that run up to $3.19/g one day, then back down to $2.95/g the next.

You get 94? Now I've never heard of that, that's nice! Is there a special place to get it, or is it typical? There were 2 gas stations in town here years ago, Conoco's, that used to sell 100 octane at $4.25-$4.50/gallon. That was back when gas was like $1.30 for regular though. Was thinking, if they had that today, I'd be filling up there instead of $3.00 for reg. Course if it's $3.00 for reg., that 100 would probably $7. And if THAT was the case, I'd go get some MR9 from VP!

Yea, up here in Michigan you can find 93 easy, and any sunoco will have 94. Some also have race gas, not sure of the octane there, and theres one down the street from my house that has 110 turbo blue

TIIIMMMMMAY ! What's up brotha ? Did you figure what is up with the ride ? I was thinking about it today and the times you were pulling and thought to myself they are pretty accurate. If you got a 2.0 60 you would be running 14 flat. I think your major problem is heat with that 2.5. Next time we go to the track bring a cooler. We will load it with a few bags of ice and cool her down. Something tells me I am on to something here.

But I was running a 14.1 with my 2.9 pulley. So I would expect at least 13.9 with 2.5 and my fuel injectors. Plus my trap times were around 100 most of the time, and I should be trapping much higher. Anyways, I believe it's all worked out. I installed a few different tunes I got from other people, and now she's running great. I'm heading to the track again tomorrow

Is tomorrow another T n T day ? Also consider taking the ice. My thinking is if you can reduce the ambient tempertures around the S/C and condense the air molecules you will be hauling balls.

Yeah, a lot of people love to jump into the 2.5 and 60#ers, but dont realize that small of a pulley is pushing the eaton way out of its efficiency range, and creating tons of power robbing heat. If you have the ability to counter it, then the power will be there.

edit - my boost leak tester isnt here yet, so it'll be a little bit before i hit the track again. But i should be on the dyno on saturday, for anyone going. (hope it comes tomorrow so i can spend that night testing and tightening)

edit2 - also Tim, i'm going to try and get a friend of mine to dyno his base neon for fun, just to see. I'll pm or post how thats going in a bit after i talk to him.

Tim should still be trapping higher than 100 with a 2.5 and 60#. Yes, heat is a son of a bitch but it shouldn't hurt him to the point it is.

the heat is possible to overcome...swaping our stock HE from a single to a dubble pass and adding a 2nd heat exchanger.

dude i finaly got the fucker off...took it off the fller neck and draind the system as best i could...got about 90% fluid out...not shes almost all purple ice with some dex cool...same goes for the engine coolant....shes runin about 3deg cooler and she cools down MUCH faster.

There's one I used to see fairly regularly around M59 & M53 (Van Dyke), and I'm a blue SS/SC in that same area ;) Don't know who it was though, just that they must live in my neighborhood. You being in Waterford though, that's probably not the area of M59 you're talking about.

Lots of Cobalts in my area but I havent seen any as of yet...well other than the red one down my street. I moved back to Shelby Twp. as of yesterday and am looking forward to seeing some of you around. Honk if you happen to see a blue ss/sc with the ss/na wing, i know its hard to tell if its ss/sc or not, but look for the lip and the whine ;) hit me up if you guys want to meet up sometime.

On another note, M53 is 70 mph now, that is neat.
