I pretty much do everything myself but when I go to get tuned Im going to HP in OP. If I need a good deal on parts I hit up my friend Noah at Velocity Trends on Atlantic.

They mostly do install and tuning on imports but let me talk to Noah and Ill get back to you. HP might be your best bet though.

 

HP are the ones that installed and tuned my Stage 2.... i also need body work too. i'm painting my wheels and getting the RKSport low-pro spoiler and i need the stock wholes covered and painted and stuff like that...pardon me i am just bored as hell and making small talk in an effort to stave off boredom! lol...

 

Well I know a few people who do some good body work. My friends brother paints up at Street Styles on St Johns Bluff near Atlantic. He does some pretty sick work. Also there is a guy name Cesar who does some great work, I can get you in contact with both of them when you need some work done. Cesar is on RaceJax.com and you could always contact him through there.

Question for the post hoes...
I got some paint issues from the removal of the 'whale tail' spoiler and just living in maine for 2 years. Im planning on a full body paint but Im not sure if I should:
1. Keep the Lazer Blue
2. Switch to something else
3. Do a two tone job.

Im still kinda new in town...where/who are these 2 reputable spots in OP? I live in argyle and thats way closer than VT out on Atlantic...

one of the reputable spots is HP Performance off of College RD in OP. take Blanding south towards Middleburg and College RD is on the left. HP is about 3 warehouses down in a small "alleyway". its hard to miss honestly, there are cars sitting out all over. the main guy who more or less runs the place is Tony. the other spot is Extreme Performance (or something like that) behind the Burger King on Blanding BLVD. it too is about 2 or 3 warehouses in and there SHOULD be a drag-prepped civic out front. the POC for that place is Jason. i know of another place that is or WAS off of Phillips HWY called Unleashed Tuning right next door to Stage 6, but i do believe that there were some business conflicts and the guy who ran it, Torrie, bailed out of that shop and i have no idea what or where he is doing his tunings now...

i have my stock flywheel and probably won't need to upgrade...sorry man...

 

Hey everyone, name's Kenny (posted in the Who's in Jacksonville thread) just bought my newly aquired 06 SS/SC. I'm interested in meeting other Cobalt SS/SC owners in the area, and learning more about my car. Have a little bit of knowledge about these cars since working for a Chevy dealer.

Would be nice to meet up with everyone this Saturday or any other night of the week when meetings/get togethers occur.
