The U.S. Cruze will start production in 2010 as a 2011 model. They just broke ground in Flint for the new engine plant that will build the 1.4 for the U.S. Cruze and Volt, so it's still a little way off for us.
domin8_gt 10-01-2008, 03:58 PM Did you look down a few more lines? It clearly says Cruze 3 times between Corvette and Epica.

SKCobalt 10-01-2008, 04:03 PM look at the locations GME LAAM and SGM... none of which are north america
SS4EVER 10-01-2008, 04:11 PM Yeah. The Cruze doesn't go into production at Lordstown for U.S consumption until July of 2010. Seeing that model years are changed in July. The 2010 Cobalt will be produced from 7/09-7/2010. Until any more information is released we don't know the fate of the Cobalt after that point.
Although I'm betting my money that the Cobalt won't make it past the 2011 or 2012MY at the latest....
BigTizzle903 10-01-2008, 04:23 PM the cruze being the suv looking thing?

Give the man a cookie - those are GM Europe, General Motors Latin America, Africa & Middle East, and Shanghai GM.
At the Lordstown reveal, Wagoner said Cruze production would begin there in April 2010.

NO! The cruze being the car that's just a little bigger than the Cobalt, Cruze.
I'd assassinate whoever would allow the Cobalt replacement to turn into a mini SUV like Dodge did with the Caliber...

Even more helpful. Again, thank you.
DeftonesFan867 10-02-2008, 05:45 AM ZOMG!!!11!1 Foe Realz?!?! I've BEEN saying for a while that the Cobalt isn't going away anytime soon, but reading is hard for most on here.
domin8_gt 10-02-2008, 05:47 AM Yeah, some of us old folks would forget the alphabet if it weren't tattooed in the palm of our hand. But, you are right. Cobalt will be here a little while longer. I've got a pic of a 2nd gen concept as my wallpaper. Specs are showing AWD and a 6 speed manual as possibilities.
