Nice choice. Can't pass up the deals on these right now. I just got mine a month ago as well. 08' ext cab lt1, 4wd. No z71 though. What motor and rear end did you get? Hit up Aaron at turbotech. I just got my K&N CAI and Magnoflow Catback dual side exit before the rear tire from him and installed over the weekend. And have a 2" leveling kit coming as well. Thanks i am not either. This truck come equiped with the v8 that when your on the highway it goes to 4 cylinders. And i am hitting 18mpg right now and it only has 50 miles on it.

Thats a nice ass truck too. We got the door cause of the kids. And with 2 car seats and me middle i was still comfy in the back. Oh and i love the radio and digital thermostate its pretty cool.

Ive driven my boss' but his is black, and has leather interior. I took the trash out one time cause our dumpster was way far away, and it was really cold. so he let me use his truck. I took it slow going down, and the ride was smooth, but when I got around the building where he couldnt see or hear me, I punched it. haha. those have some serious power.

Naw i plan on hauling a lot and and towing a lot of stuff. I got the power pack plus kit which comes i with the 5.3L vortec and 3.73 gears for towing and haulign shit. And the SS would of not served my needs.
