Are there any SCCA racing classes other than the SOLO events that do not require a rollcage and showroom stock vehicles are eligible?

not exactly sure, I know there should be something local that doesn't.
I occasionally run in local events and all I need is a helmet, a tech inspection and to pay the fee.
I'll look and see if I can fid something in your area.

That's autocross, AKA, SOLO - he wants to know what else he can run.

SCCA offers track day events which are run on track at racing speeds.. There is one planned for Pocono on June 16 and 17 2006... At these ebvents, a helmet is required, and instructors are present.. No racing is allowed but there is some controlled passing and you can run high speeds on the Pocono SCCA club racing course. It is the sam e road course that the national and regional races are held on...

As far as racing, just about every sanctioning body requires a roll cage and safety equipment in order to race...
