Anyone feel like going to the track tonight? The weather is going to be nice so I figure why not have a good track night. I'll be down there in my cav if anyone else will be there.

awesome, just MapQuested it. it's about 1.5 hrs. Not too bad.

Explain this Street Race Grudge thing to me. Will I be able to get a lot of runs it, or will I be entered in a competition and then knocked out after round one run after paying full price to get into the place?

 

if you have anyone you want to race.... you can tell them when you go up to the line and they will purposely put you against the other person. depending on the night, some nights you'll get like 2 or 3 runs and other nights you'll get sick of making runs on a night like tonight.... you'll probably get like 3 runs because it's going to be nice and cool out and "real" racers will come take advantage of the cooler temps.

 

You go in and you make runs, but get there as close to opening as possible as you get alot of cars there. You don't get knocked out of anything. It's like a time trial where you just make passes to see what you run.

ic, and they call you up or something? I'm just trying to see if it's worth driving the distance and paying the entry fee for how many times I'll get to race.

I went to Beaver Springs with BriantheLion26, and it was on a test/tune day. We got as many runs as we wanted, and headed to the staging areas when we felt our cars were cooled down enough or just whenever we felt like trying again.

 

didn't even think about it but i might take a ride down tonight!

 

roadrage..... it's like a big loop.... you pull in, sign some forms, pay your entry fee and then get in one of like 6 lines. once one race is done, they send the next race thru. once you make your run, you do a loop, pick up your time slip and get back in line.

 

hmm... alright, i might take a trip down. we'll see what the g/f feels like doing tonight.

 

i'm going to try to come up. right now i kind of committed myself to going to happy hour with some co-workers and then told the woman i'd hang out with her. maybe i'll hit up happy hour for a little bit and then go make a few runs and then meet up with her.

I'm not 100% on Kristin but Britt is coming for sure. She seems to be attached at the hip lol.
