i ve been wanting to post this thread for some time now. just read some of this thread - So you say you can drive 5spd? How exactly do you drive it. i wouldnt mind seeing your "style" of shifting from the guys and gals out there!

suggestions: try and get both the stick shift in the video.might try and have someone in the back seat filming. so they can get both the shifting, the displays, clutch and pedal. Take a few videos from a stand still too.

AND PLEASE, WHEN TAPING, DONT SPEED OR RACE. DONT FORGET TO WATCH THE ROAD!!!

You know that's actually a cool idea! I'm gonna have to wait a while tho, valve cover is off being polished. Should get it back next week.

this is going to turn ugly, because people trying to give legitimate help and explain what people are doing wrong will automatically become the '********' for trying to help.

well i for one would appreciate any help because i know i'm not perfect with it cause i had to learn on my own and have no one to give me any pointers. I just hope this topic doesn't get locked by the time I have a video.

BTW buddy thanks for helping me learn how to rev match and downshift. I got it down real smooth now and i actually get better gas mileage.

yeah i want to see how others drive (i dont know many people who actually drive stick so i really cant compare). Im pretty confident that i drive the way its supposed to be driven
