Ask your wallet if it can afford about $500-$600 a month on Insurance and Car Payment.

Gas a month assuuming your a good driver and stay out of boost often you will find yourself paying about $150-300 a month on gas if your like me.

Your call on the car, it's fun but keep those figures in mind.

Humh...No!!! It has the worst gas mileage and highest insurance rate of all the Cobalt models.

The Cobalt SS/SC is purely a passionate purchase, not one for the reason of economical budgeting.

Does a Ferrari Enzo make a practical, everyday car for the inner-city driving experience?

not sure if your basing those #'s off of km's per gallon or mpg but mpg those aren't right. I'm lucky I can get maybe 26 miles to the gallon on the highway.

That would be the 2.2L not the SS/SC version... The SC gets like 19/23? or somthing to that effect.

I just meant from a practical stand point, no. You can get cars that are cheaper, mor fuel efficient, and less to insure. That said, it gets very good economy from the engine, especially considering the power. If you have been driving for a while, and your record is clean, most peoples insurance will be reasonable.

If you are asking if the car is a good value, then I would say yes.

Go test drive one, and see what you think. Also, consider the 2.4L SS. It is cheaper and has heated seats, and nicer wheels. Just do more personal research before you buy anything.

In mpg, I average 22.8 over all. I do about 50/50 city/highway driving. And that's a lil spirited at times.

LOL--there is no such offical measurement as KM per gallon. A winow sticker in Canada
displays Litres per 100kms and CDN Mpg. Plus our rating system for this is more lieniant and optomistic.

For the S/C SS it is 28 / 39. You might get 28 (Canadian remember) is you really baby it
but I really doubt you'd ever get 39mpg.

gas and insurance im paying 600 a month...but my insurance sucks because i have 2 cars...so im probably around the 530 range as well as far as cost....gas i really havent used much...cars been tied up for 2 months already so havent really driven a whole helluva lot. but yes from the driving i have done the milage per gallon is HORRIBLE....and with the high octane gasoline prices it gets a bit nuts...dont plan on taking any long trips....i think a trip to avalon nj from riverhead (4 hr drive) sucked out a whole tank of gas there and a whole tank back (or close to it)

I don't get bad Highway miles. But around town lets say I drive... Spirited, hence my Careless driving Ticket yesterday. But on the highway home from Albany , ny. I got about 33 at 80mph with the cruise set.

My car and insurance payment is around $400 per month. You can get 32mpg hwy @ 65mph, and 25-27mpg driving real nicely in town. I usually get 19-21 mpg city, and 27-28 highway. I say get it if you can!
