kruise for kids

that time is comming up again. if you havent heard of kruise for kids, its a short cruise involving all types of cars. all proceeds go to the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau.

when= november 2nd, 9am
were- guilford town center
entry fee- one new unwrapped toy

we cruise from guilford town center, leaving at 10am, to the langley civic center. there toys are taken, as well as donations. there are door prizes, and even awards for best car club, best decorated car, best dresed driver and crew and best display.

last year we had a few cars show up, this was the first css meet i came to (i had owned my car 3 days prior to it). ive done this for a few years now and its great fun and a good charity event for the car hobby.

I'll have to throw my rims back on if I want to "show off" my ride, threw the stockers back on for winter already... but yeah if I'm not doing anything I'll go.

I might actually have to back out of this because I work on that Sunday just found out 12-8... I'd be cutting it real close if I were to attend this then drive back to Mission... so I'll see if I can swap shifts.

Hoping I'll be running by then, sounds like a good time for a good cause. I'll let you know if I'm on the road and/or if I'm keeping the car, I'll be game.

its a week away

we meet there at 9am, the cruise leaves at 10am so we have plenty of time to get ourselves into one area and lined up for the cruise.

yea that was an ausome meet.....icemaid.

disapointed with the showing from cobalt ss. its great that people on here cant plan th slightest bit to come out to a charity event that costs a toy and some gas, all to make some under privilaged families holliday season better. just so you guys know, just short of $19,000 in donations and a sea of toys were donated. some of the smaller clubs (10-15 members) scraped together some cash for donations between $100 and $500. the bc lx club (magnums chargers 300 and challengers) has 42 cars and 65 people show up, and donated over $2g.

yea im trying to make you guys feel a bit bad, i was very disapointed with the turnout.
