Getting my 09' SS/TC tomorrow!

Hey guys,

Just went down to the dealership and got to see my SS sitting on the lot. It wasn't plated or PDI'd yet, so I couldn't go for a drive, but they have a big lot so I still took it for a little putter around.

I'm really pumped. I'll post pictures as soon as I pick it up tomorrow! I swear, I remembered it looking good from the test drive, but I forgot how much better it looks in person than in photos.

Sorry, had to share.

I'd have noted the number of kilometres on it. If I went to pick up my car and there were 10-15 unexplained kms on it since I was it then it's be no deal.

I did take a note: 5km when I turned the car off. I already have an agreement with the sales guy in writing that if there's more than 12km on it when I take delivery I can walk on the deal. I made it pretty clear that no one in the dealership is going for joy rides in my non-broken-in car.

Based on the route he told me they take for the PDI, it should have just about 12.

see that's where i was lucky, my salesman is a friend of mine and i used to work at the dealership i bought the car at so i knew forsure nobody would joyride it, not even my salesman.

Typical GM experience, though, in that just driving around the lot, shifting from 1rst into reverse to turn around, the shift boot came off

I guess the plastic down there isn't too sturdy.

Good lord...while that is a silly easy fix...the UAW should be better than that.

Well, I posted pics in the SS/TC picture thread but I'll put them here too... More to come after this weekend when I have a chance to go take good ones.

Finally home where she belongs

As for the price, with taxes it came to just north of $30k.

.............dunno what kinda math they teachin u but 28.2 is smaller than 28.5

PS, even if i had gotten those options i'd still probably be under 28.5
