open dowpipe

Got bored today so i took the exhaust off the 08 t/c and am now running a open down pipe. Doesnt sound ricer at all. exactly sounds pretty good. ill post a video of it up later today so you guys can hear it

pull pretty good can't really here the turbo but u here it real good when u shift

I'll get a video inside and outside. I wonder if it will shoot flames at night

yea i helped him do it....sounds really good....im not sure if it will shoot flames because it still has the cat on it and that burns all the excess fuel....but ill help take the video wen he gets home later

um i did this a while back sounds good. i have a cut out. i keep it stock most the time. and u wont really feel a difference unless u have a tune. the noise makes u think its faster..

Oh and for the top bolt u need a long extension. its a pain w/o it. i put 2 to make a longer one come of ez if u do..

yea the sound deff does make it feel like ur going faster.....i think its actually hurting the performance with out all the back pressure

i was talking to black turbo ss when i asked about the cut out i want to hear the muffler delete my dad said thats more reasonable but i was just going to just run 3 in custom exhaust all the way back and maybe put in a resonater or 2 but idk catless downpipe FTW!!

a turbo provides more then enough back pressure for a engine......

you want max pressure on the inlet side of the turbine (from the motor) and minimal back pressure on the outlet side (the exhasut)

the higher that pressure delta, the quicker the turbo will spool and the higher shaft speed it'll carry.

an open down pipe on these tiny stock turbos often sounds SEXY....the turbine is always "up" or close to being at speed so it provides a great octave shift in the housing thus causing a great muffling effect while giving off an great symphony of awesome turbo sounds.

wow!!!...i just had to find out, so i called my dealer....

the parts guy said, that the muffler, and the pipe that lead to the cat is one long piece...

you just cut the end off a $963.50 part!

and in the immortal words of raven ss...FAF!
