Scca Stx
If you have R-comps and fit within the stock class rules, DS is the place to be. Any IRL/'balt can cream an ACR on an autocross course, the new TC it's just not even worth comparing. Next year the SC cars will be GS though, along with the SRT-4 IIRC - the TC CObalt remains in DS. Regardless, the DS PAX is so surrealisticly soft that it's just cake to land top 10 PAX in any of these cars. Funny thing is, by getting dropped to GS us SC guys are being punished as DS has the softer PAX factor thanks to the MCS, LMAO.
In STX, we could be fairly competitive up until the rules changed for '09... The WRX's benifit hugely fom the fact that they can convert to a single cat; between that and Cobb tuning, they are badass in STX. The 328's are tough as nails in STX as well. Still; fully prepped with HP Tuners and good setup, we could play, and well - but next year, the RX-8 gts dropped to STX. That's gonna be the go-to car for sure, end of game - although the Cobalt TC MIGHT be able to hang with the right setup.
