Welcome to the world of hi tech. The New World Order is watching.Well, that's the sorta **** it makes me think about, lol. This tech is new around here, but i am sure you guys have it elsewhere.Sounds like a nice cash cow for the city which is always coming up with new ways for revenue.Pic edited for obvious reasons.

That's brutal, we have red light cameras(Most of them are for display and have no actual camera in them) and used to have photo radar stations set up, but taxpayers boo'ed those off the road.
There was talk of those up here and I'm sure it'll happen eventually

Ya...this one is set up for both speeding and red lighting.Don't loan your car out(not that i would, lol),but whoever is in your car will get ticketed if over however much is determined a ticket, and YOU get the ticket.I was reading on the backside of this ticket that only a signed affidavit will pass the ticket to the "said driver".lol, don't **** off your spouse.
They did a study on red/yellow light cameras and found that accidents actually increased because people didn't want a ticket so they would slam on their brakes if they saw yellow and that lead to more rear end collisions.
yea the red light cameras suck but up here they only catch people who run red lights, not speeders. we had the photo-radar thing for a couple years, problem was because of a loophole all the tickets got thrown out of court (basicly the ticket proves you guilty with no evidence that your the one in the drivers seat. it violated the "innocent untill proven guilty" thing).
Take it to court and say you weren't the one driving it. There's no way they can prove you were driving it. Hell, they can't even assign a ticket because there's no name or address filled in.
And how much time passed between the second and third pictures? We can determine the rate of speed by how long the delay is with the approximate distance traveled.
Edit: Nevermind, I just saw it. How the hell do those cameras determine speed? It says .44 seconds elapsed between the first and second pictures, but even if you managed to travel 22 feet in .44 seconds, you still would've only been going 30 mph.

What sets it go off? Like 5 or 10 miles over the speed limit or something?
Also does it even say how fast you were goin? Cause on the ticket I didn't see an actual number...unless I can't read

The lower paragraph tells ya 48mph on a 35mph zone. That is the majical questions to how far over the posted MPH will get you a ticket. As far as claiming you are'nt the driver, that what i am saying earlier. They put the burden of proof upon YOU.You would have to figure who was driving your vehicle and get them sign an affidavit, then the ticket goes to them,lol.AFU.
I edited out some of the info but it is all listed in reality.

That's what I'm saying, too. You'd have a few options here. You could challenge the constitutionality of the ticket, since they're essentially saying you're guilty until proven innocent, or you could challenge the accuracy of the camera itself.
In order to have been going 48mph in those two pictures which were taken .44 seconds apart, you'd have to have traveled approximately 35.2 feet. At least from the pictures, it doesn't look even remotely possible; 70.4 feet per second equals 48 miles per hour, so if the pictures really were taken a half second apart you should have gone much farther. Either the accused speed is wrong, or the timing on the camera is wrong, but both give you reasonable doubt.
