cobalt sport zzp downpipe

i was wondering if any one has put a catted zzp downpipe on a new cobalt sport besides me my check engine like came on tonite onthe way back from school so im wondering if its from the downpipe im prolly gonna scan it at work tomarrow just seeing if any one else has had problems

ZZP claims it right on their website somewhere that their DP will set off a CEL. You can get it tuned out, or go with a different DP. Cobalt Addiction seems to be one of the best as well.

ZZP makes a DP that bolts up to the stock cobalt exhaust. Their shorty header and DP are the ones that only work with each other. Or at least thats what I thought.

I didn't realize you had ZZP Brick...

You turned that actual CEL off? I thought you could just disable the code so you don't have to turn off the CEL?

mine took almost a year to start throwing cat codes, but you're almost guaranteed to get one eventually. i keep my code reader in the front seat.

Aftermarket ceramic core catalysts set codes.

Random Technology, Clear Image, and Vibrant all offer metallic core catalysts that dont suffer this problem unless your engine is running way out tune.(youd probably be frying stock cats too at htis point)
