If your having a Power Steering Problem file a complaint at this website. http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/ivoq/index.cfm If you don't report it GM will never fix it. Also file a complaint with GM's national customer service.:twothumbs

Perhaps you could tell us what the exact problem is?

or is it the same problem as the ss/sc.... bad connection in the fuse box... easy fix... push the connector back in.

Powersteering flashes on the speedometer display and then the car loses powersteering. Let the car rest for a while and it comes back.

I lost my power steering already once to, and it wasn't a fuse issue.
the motor went on it. I drove for a while without it to but the wife was having trouble, so I bought one from a scrap yard, it's been working fine ever since, had to replace the hole column, the motor cannot be removed

are you sure you cant remove the motor, i thought it was the one located under the steering wheel that is black. i found a used column for $250 at a junkyard also but im iffy on buing something used.

i had problems with my pscm, when i had my wreck, the shop thought it was due to the wreck, which it wasnt, so they replaced it brand new
