Rod Bearings

Anyone have any idea roughly how much time it takes to change the rod bearings in our cars by just dropping the oil pan?

Thanks in advance

Anyone?

Time is hard to say based on who is doing the work.

The biggest part of the job is cleaning the old sealant off of the oil pan and block before reassembly.

Why are you replacing just rod bearings? That's kindda weird actually.

yeah, if you spun a rod bearing, chances are there is some crank scoring and will need more than just a rod bearing swap

What is a rod bearing? From your posts it sounds like it can be accessed by dropping the oil pan which is at the bottom of the motor. The bearing is part of the crankshaft?

Why do you think your rod bearing is broke and what are the symptoms?
