So just curious.. What are the advantages of doing this setup vs the traditional setup? Just more efficient because doesnt get as hot or what?

easier to work with...no custom manifold needed...more piping, but piping i easier, and you have more room to play with, you dont have to make a dp, since the turbo is in the back, just a dump pipe...loads easier and cost cheaper than traditional ways...cheaper if you do all your own labor like most of us CAN...even thought some dont

pretty exhaust

i want one because its hidden....i would even take a step further and hide the FMI like the old 300zx TT...and possibly a surrond for the fancy exhaust components

you could go with a SMIC, they are good for low-mid boost levels, which is something im thinking of doin, its cheaper, and you can get small OEM SMIC for cheap, like ths one

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...093#ht_500wt_0

there is no need for big ass FMIC's when you dont push the boost required to make them beneficial, sure they look nice, but they are ment for those that make more heat due to more boost, they have a higher pressure drop, which for those running low boost is something you dont want, for those running the boost needed for a FMIC too be efficient, the small loss is nothing compared to their total gain...sorry almost started ranting there
