theres a icon to the right of the gas gauge and its a + with like gear shape around the plus sign. I looked it up and its suppose to come on to tell u to upshift. well mine has never came on, it comes on when i start the car but thats the only time. any ideas

if it is a tc, you have to set your rpms for the upshift

in any manual tranny car that is the shift point that is optimal for however your driving style at the current time is.

Thats the shift light, it comes on to tell you when to upshift for best fuel economy. Thats it.

If youre car is Canadian, has had the IPC replaced or possible if it was tuned(not sure if any tuning software can adjust it) IT WONT COME ON.

mine comes on at redline it's like an OH SHIT SHIFT like.. lol i like it it's a heads up before i plant into the limiter lol makes racing easier cuz i see it out of the corner of my eye

i have a 2.4 and it only comes on at red line. not every time i shift
