Man you should get a better price then that, the last 2 times I was there I paid $75 for baseline pulls. This was a year or so ago though so maybe he just changed his price.

Ya that's a good idea, let's all drive up to Barrie to patronize an "OCC sponsor".
The way you throw around the "OCC sponsor" thing is borderlining on pathetic.
Who are all these sponsors and why are they not listed on some message board ?
Attempting to hi-jack every thread to plug the word OCC (or the OCC site) is not going to get the job done. It is just making the OCC look like a bigger joke than it is. Registering a domain for $ 10.00 per month and calling yourself a "Club President" does not make you a "leader". If you want people to follow you, contribute to the community, maybe even show up at more than 2 meets. I have nothing against you personally Corby, your accomplishments with the j-body community are quite impressive and in person you seem like a nice guy. Please just think before you speak on behalf of the "Ontario Cobalt Community".

Enough of that rant ! Ang, my car is stock so no desire to strap it on to a dyno. , I will however, be happy to SPONSOR the Tim Horton's purchase for that afternoon and hang out with some friends and smell some premium fuel being burned:lol: .

Later.

I'd be down for a meet to see everyones #'s that day, just don't want to dyno my Cobalt yet.

why are they not listed on a message board? Because ungreatful guys like you don`t use the message board that i had provided you. If it dosn`t get used, sponsors and GM canada don`t see it getting hits, therefore there not interested. oh, and i`m real pathetic when i can get my annual show title sponsored by GM Canada and have them solicite my event in there display at the biggest auto show of the year. Name another club like the JCO that has been that succesful in getting support form a major auto company? You want to see how pathetic me and my sponsors are? Come to the bash in June. oh wait, you can`t, cause the first hotel is sold out for the bash. And if the OCC is such a joke.I guess i can remove you from that site then?

They are not listed on the sponsor area of the board because they are not OCC sponsors.

I do not think the your "sponsors" are pathetic , I think your plugging of these un named OCC sponsors is pathetic. I think oranizing "group buys" where the price for 10 is more than the price for one at time walking in off the street. I think it is pathetic that you have entered suggestions on this site that people should discuss meets on the OCC board instead of here ( it is like going to someone else's party and suggesting the guest leave and come to your party). With regards to the JCO club, my original post stated that your work with them was quite impressive ( read it again). It is your work with the OCC that is in question, pretty much just talk of sponsors and plugs for the JCO.

Come to the bash in June. oh wait, you can`t, cause the first hotel is sold out for the bash.

If tickets are available to the public, I am sure that I could go to the bash if I wanted to, and just out of curiousity what does a sold out hotel have to do with me going anywhere ?

And if the OCC is such a joke.I guess i can remove you from that site then?

I did not express myself properly in my original post. It is not the OCC ( really just a group of guys that hang out in parking lots:lol: ) that is a joke, it is the template forum site that you have so generously provided us with that you do not really frequent yourself that is a joke. By all means remove me from the site if you wish, feel the power man.

Again Corby, I have nothing against you, and wish you well with the JCO. Let's not take this to another level on here, if you wish PM me.

Steve.

Whoa......... hold on there fellers! The OCC is still in the infancy stage and once more cars get on the road the better off the club will be. I know the both of you and I really hope things don't go in this direction. Let's have a meet at a dang bar and I'll buy you both a round............or 6:twothumbs

Absolutely right...let's just have some fun with it. We've made some good friends with these meets which makes it all the worthwhile.

On the real topic at hand, it appears a dyno day is not in the majority's interest - oh well, I tried. Anybody else got any other ideas? We can't just meet in parking lots all the time. Let's put our heads together and come up with some ideas. I would love to organize a cruise - A LONG CRUISE!!! :twothumbs

Free booze alrite! Name the bar and I'll be there...6 double vodka-7s should keep me occupied for a little while, ice is preferred ;)!

I'd love to make it out for this (someone would have to bring a non-ss) but I hate commiting to anything in case we get hit with another shitstorm of snow and I can't make it. I'll just wait patiently for the spring to get here when the weather is more predictable...how much farther off can it be .
