It's been ages since we've actually posted up something new so here goes...

Anyone who's had our Polyurethane CABs know one thing: They're prone to fail. Polyurethane in any combination with the CABs doesn't work. This is something that's evident only over long term, (1 year or so, sometimes less)... Basically, this left a lot of ppl with a useless product and a sour taste in their mouth. Regardless, we offered free swaps to anyone who wanted a new pair, but ultimately that's pretty much in vane because they'll only get another year outta the new pair and be in the same boat again... So the only way out of this vicious cycle is switch back to stock or

>>>> Spherical Bushings, Solid, no P.U.

Anyone interested in such a product? We'll try to keep pricing the same as the existing bushings (http://www.jbodyperformance.com/new/PartDetails.php?partId=925&catId=925&catName=JP0925). Also, if you currently have our old bushings, we're going to offer a discount on these new ones, regardless if you have a receipt or not.

OK, I have the torque damper and it doesn't really do shit at the track. I refuse to get solid tranny mounts or engine mounts because I don't like the vibes at all, even after it's broken in. How much will this help with hop?Any idea?

im interested, however for street use a spherical rod end must have a rubber dust boot on it. without a way to keep the grit out they will be binding up and worn out faster than the urethane CABs.

id love it if you offer a trade in. i still have a set of junk urethane ones from you that i took out about 6 months after they were installed.

... a spherical rod end must have a rubber dust boot on it....

Right, We'd have to over come this issue with the design itself. A sealed heim is the only thing that will work.

It seems as though there's a great deal of interest in a matter of one hour. I'll see what we can come up with in the next couple of days. (pricing, design and more information)

We're almost done a design. Basically its a outer aluminum shell with the custom spherical bearing inside. By the looks of it, we'll be able to make it a sealed unit, which should alleviate some issues as mentioned with grit, dust and sand. The unit itself will be corrosion resistant.

There isn't any commitment from the public. We've shelved this for now.

I should rephrase, there's no PAYING commitment. We'd need to see a definite interest with money backing the idea.

Don't blame you guys... the LSJ crowd is a joke when it comes to commitment.
They'll always say "I'd buy it"... then when it comes down to money it's always "too pricey".
I guess that's what happens when the general demographic is kids.

i dunno, your talking a $100-200 part here, it could go over well. everyone said the same about the tvs blower, when an atractive package was put together (like ott is doing) there is a huge interest, a bunch of people paid in full, a ton of others with deposits, and thats a $1700+ item. the biggest thing i find is people want a solid product that is proven before money is put down, and companies (not just jbp) want people with cash in hand to buy an untested product before they design it.

Same shit... different pile.
The TVS GB is not a good example. The people that got in on that are, for the most part, the more mature crowd around here. I'd safely say that most of them were planning to buy a TVS within the year anyways.

On the same note... to engineer and produce a $1700 blower, is not a large task by any means for a company like Harrop, who deals with this kind of work on a daily basis. Meanwhile, JBP is a small company with a small design team. To design and produce a part like these mounts wold be a gamble if no one would honestly buy it. JBP never asked people to buy a junk product... they asked if people would buy a fully tested product.... something that they have been known to do in the past (find me something that hasn't lived up to a decent standard, and don't fucking mention that header, cause it fits!).
