Pics of your winter-scarred 'Balts

Alright, so some have seen the first snowfall of the year... Northerners are going to be staring at winter wheel/tire setups, filthy cars, and ugly-but-awesome mud flaps.

So if we can't enjoy our cars as much in the snow, we should at least poke fun at the situation. Let's post up some pictures of our cars at their worst

I'll post pics here once I go get some mud flaps tonight. I'll make sure to take them before I wash the poor girl, who just went on an 850km (530mi) drive in rain, sleet, and snow

ARG! I should've taken a pic last night, no snow but my car was almost completely covered in a layer of frost.

Gotta buy some winter tires/steelies. I'm sure I'll have some good pics soon 'cause winter in NJ is basically just salt f'ing everywhere on the roads and it turns everyone's car grey.

lol 3? that's it? i'm expecting over 100 by spring time, if not 1000's, they don't salt the roads up here at all, they put down gravel which ends up cracking your windshield within a year to the point of replacement required and yea.....your front end is..........yea......

I'm heading out in a few to buy a set... I don't know how easy they'll be to install, if I have to drill holes or anything in them I'm just going to do it tomorrow.

Either way, I'm aiming for STi-with-mudflaps level of ugly/awesome combined, I'll post pics as soon as they're on.

Ive got nothing yet, but as soon as the snow omes the streets turn white with salt afterwards. Its terrible. That and they have a big thing with the gravel here too, which ****** sucks.

I have to point this out...

No one has it as bad as they do in Calgary... It is absolutely ridiculous.

Every other car has a cracked windshield, and that is not an exaggerating.

I feel for you dude.... That sucks big time.

Alright folks, here we go... Sorry, no full car shots, it's in the garage and I was too lazy to pull it out. I held off on washing it an extra day just to post these.

I bought mudguards for it tonight, so more pics when I get around to installing them...

For now, behold 850km worth of road grime :

And the best of the worst...

I must say though, with the snow tires the 'Balt has been really good in the snow thus far. The only issue I'll have is ground clearance.
