These stock Pirelli's just aren't holding up that well in this winter weather, so I am going with either Falken or Khumo Ecstas. But here's a quick vid of my 1-3 shift. I know bad bog in 2nd, but I was nervous for the camera.

Gimme some feedback on some of the good/cheaper 225/ 40 size tires!

 

That 1-2 WTF was that... you gotta DROP that clutch and floor that sucker. If your tires are bald you should be able to spin the hell out of them.

 

I KNEW IT!!! Naw no clutch slippy for me, that was some mild shifting for me. otherwise tire spin>me in this cold weather. They spin for infinity and beyond just like in that one video on the outside. Perilli's suck man.

 

where's the squeel from 1-2nd? totally coulda pulled it off.

 

I know, now I am feeling the urge to go make another one...It's easy to do with these tires

^OMG, wayyy out of context. I took it this time to a better paved road so it wouldn't chirp a tire..I'm telling you these tires have sorry traction and tread life...hence the new tires.

Man I felt your pain. My pirellies looked like drag slicks, no joke. I just got my 225/40/18 Nitto nt555's installed and it's a world of differnce. I have more traction in the rain now then I had in the dry with my old tires.

LOL. On the 1st to 2nd shift you can hear my radar come flying off my windshield and go slamming into the back of my car. Haha. I didn't go WOT on the 2nd to 3rd shift though because I ran out of road lol.

That was 0-80mph or so, easing into WOT in 1st gear. I didn't bang 3rd though because like I said my little stretch of road was coming to a rapid halt lol. But you get the idea. My tires were also at like 23-25psi... haha. I should probably put some more air into them.

when i shifted into second the tires spun so much i could see the right side of my car covered in smoke hahaha
