Cobalt SS wins 2008 SCCA Runoffs in T3
There were 3 Cobalt ss/sc racing in the 2008 SCCA runoffs this year plus the Ion Redline and hopefully next year we'll see some ss/tc's running in the T2 class with the Solstice GXP's which also did very well in their class.

btw, b4 anyone asks about "#34 Disqualified per GCR 9.1.10.D.1.a.1" here is what i found,
This is under "Engine" and "Component Modification": "Overhaul procedures which in the slightest way could increase performance beyond factory specifications shall not be utilized, e.g. porting/polishing, etc."

i searched around to try and find anything about this but all i found was Solo class stuff. And i thought ss/tc at first too but i dug around and they are ss/sc, that's why the Ion Redline was in there too. Remember, it's a mostly stock class, u are only allowed minor changes to the car........mostly stock ss/sc vs mostly stock ss/tc, we all know the ss/tc wins, that's why hopefully next year we'll see the ss/tc in Touring Class 2 like the Solstice GXP

i watched it on tv lol it was nice the two yellow cobalts were the only ones all the way in front messing around with each other lol the black cobalt though just seemed like he wasnt trying and the ion well i think i saw every body over lap quite a few times lol
it was a really good race to watch, i got to watch it twice lol. I'd love to get into racing an ss/tc in Touring Class 2, that'd be amazing.
I am almost positive that the SS/TC and the HHR SS are already classified for T2, unfortunately, they have to run at 3200lbs! They raised the Solstice GXPs min weight up to 3120 also.(was 2950, T3 Balts run at 2890)
