im debating whether or not to complete my exhaust by putting in cat back. Im only considering gmpp at this point because i want to keep the noise down. My question is would the power gain justify the cost for the exhaust and retune? I can get retuned for fairly cheap so it got me thinking..

I currently have gm intake, ca header and downpipe and tune

I highly doubt you would need a retune from just changing the catback out. You won't notice much of a power increase, but it does make the car more enjoyable to drive, IMO.

Yeah ^^ shouldn't need a retune, but you may since you have a DP. I'd say it would complete your exhaust system, make your car sound better, and you'd have a small gain at minimum.

if its not much power increase then i guess its not justify for the cost then..

Don't get a catback. Instead, download the sound of angry bumble bees onto a CD and turn it up when you step on the gas. It'll net the same effect and probably the same gains as well..

Header/DP is the way to go dude.

Penguin.. Trust me man Cat-back IS worth it.. Even if the power you want doesnt come from it. If you want to cream your pants every time you drive your car, buy a cat-back. MORE than worth it. It's an essential mod for any modded car.

It's essential if you want to make your LSJ sound like garbage

haha thats a bit mean lol

anyhow... i think my car has quite a bit of sound as it is. i dont prefer it any louder under throttle than what i have but i would like a bit more idle rumble

so i guess theres not much gain on the 2.4 then..
