Like Wtf My Dealer Said Ill Know If I Get One Tommorrow The Told Be March 28/05 Is The Build Date And Whould Take 6-8 Weeks B4 Dealer Gets.........sounds Like Scam And False Advertising On Commerical Ad On Msn And T.v In Canada............what A Joke If I Get One In A Mnt Or Two Thats Great But If I Have To Wait Till Sept Ill Change My On Car

 

If the build date is the 28th, you should get delivery in june sometime at the latest.

 

Well I L Called G.m With My Order# They Told Build Date Is Was March 28 And Got Pushed Back Till Sept 05 And It Will Be An 06 Ss/sc

 

Well i just talked to my dealer... AND GUESS WHAT, nothing he know nothin new, WHY, whats going on, i tell him what i learn on here, and he agrees to somepoint on things and info, This sucks, if i dont get this SS in the month of June, or hear it is coming to me soon after or something, sorry GM another lost sale, and my family is a GM Family no more if that happens, so more like 5 or 6 lost sales!

 

I wouldnt be extremly worried just yet. So far its just the Canadian orders that have been getting this message no one from the US has yet claimed the same thing.

my dealer said they had blue cobalt ss/sc with blue/blk iseats that wasnt spoken for so they said they will give me that one,they gave me an order # so i called gm and said march 28,which is pulled back to sept/05 the i whould be getting 2006 s/c,i called back to dealer and told thats not true.........but my dealer there going to talk to there gm rep ill find out tommorw,and also g.m canada is saying that they stop production at 567 s/c all order will start up in sept,its fishy to me when these cars r being built same plant for u.s.a and canada they should of called the 2005 ss s/c limited editon.......g.m im looking at my options ford gt mustang looks to be my choice or wrx

So you have been waiting for a grand total of 11 days for a car that you really didn't even order since you just are getting dealer retail stock. Man you need to calm down. I ordered mine 9/11/04 and I am not as upset as you about the delays.

 

I have to agree dealerships here are just now allowed to order the cobalt SS/SC for normal stock. I dont know whats going on in GM canada but I hardly consider it a scam that you might have to wait if you just ordered it last month. No offense to you.

 

im not upset, just g.m canada is telling me one thing the dealer has a different story,im also trading in my car,but before i made the deal i asked my salesmen when ill get the car he told me 2-4 weeks as he had several coming in, so i found out about this forum and hear what u all ready heard about the delays so i called my gm dealer to get the order# so i called gm canada they told i had a build date of march 28,and it got pushed back untill sept thats a huge wait for me,my dealer is telling me thats bullshit and also i was at the toronto car show, two reps from gm had two different storys on build date one said may and other said october as cobalt is only a concept car, there project it will be available for a 2006
