Angry New to engines...Dealer wont help

Ok, so like i said, im new to engine diagnostics and stuff and i dont kno wats wrong with my car. I've taken it in twice now and both times the dealer said nothings wrong, but i think they just dont wanna mess with it. I've notice it starts to lose power around 4k rpms and it really doesnt have the same pull it used to. I also cant go more than about 2 runs before the temp starts getting pretty high (highest was 227 on the DIC, normal is 187)

227 does not sound good at all, try a different dealer and see what they say

Go to autozone and ask them to check your OBD II ADL for DTC (codes). The codes are from the self diagnostic system in the Engine Control Module (ECM) and will help find the problem. Watch how they do it -- you can buy a code reader and do this yourself.

check your coolant level, check the coolant for oil and vise versa, and see if you can rent a compression tester from autozone or somthing and do a compression test

given the fact that your temp is high, and your loosing power, your safest bet is to start with the most seriously possible problem and work your way down from there

usually 195-210 is ok when your pushing your car 220 and up something is definitely wrong. Like someone said, check the coolant.

It could be anything causing lost of power. If its still under warranty, take it to another dealer and tell them to test drive it and see what happens from there.
