Not happy with just taunting us with the new 2010 Chevy Cruze going on sale a year earlier in Europe than in the US, GM has now fully unveiled the World Touring Car Championship Chevy Cruze, all dolled up for serious action. The racing Cruze replaces the Chevrolet Lacetti as GM's WTCC corporate racer and will be driven by a 2.0 liter four cylinder and piloted by Brit racer Rob Huff, Swizerlander Alain Menu and Italian Nicola Larini. The rough part of this whole story is the pun-tastic headline GM uses in their press release. An audible groaner below.

I don't know about anyone else, but from certain angles, this looks like an awesome car. Then again, from other angles it makes me want to throw up. Could just be the ugly shade of blue.

I just emailed GM Performance yesterday about our ideas for a Cruze SS coupe...I hope they take some of our ideas into consideration.

I'm not bashing on you. I was stating my opinion that CSRTs are ugly. I don't see how you have all year round driving when I also have all year round driving. My Cobalt is a daily driver and has been for over a year now so technically, I do drive all year round.

Where's the rationale there? So because all dodge's have an ugly front end, it makes it ok to take shots at other cars? Anyone that likes the look of that box isnt fit to comment about style anyhow.... lol
What exactly do you mean by versatility? Cargo space?. The TC is the hands down winner as the overall best car as far as cornering ability and overall driving experience etc is concerned. I ended my testdrive early in that srt box, compared to the TC is handled like a pos. Nice engine though (loads of potential) and I have always liked Mopar, but they missed the boat on the styling here thats all. To each their own, you like it so thats all that matters, and you dont have to look at it when you're behind the wheel (fine, punish us all wont ya). Youre into drag racing so at least you have a chance, for now. a stock 1/4 time doesnt make or break a car imo, and there will be TC's out there that will show you bumper too.. lol

The wing is there because this car races...idiots I swear....
