That 'officer' disrespected his own badge and department. I wonder what came of this seeing as he choke held the kid. That just gives cops a bad rep.

bet those kids did something serious, besides skateboarding is dangerous...they have parks for that, and doing it in some places is illegal...dont matter how old you are, if you catch a kid street racing to you let him go b/c he is 14? its no diffrent, what if that kid cracked his skull on the pavement? whos fault is it? who do you think the parents are going to sue so they can afford to pay to put their kids head back together?

Yeah, that cop is a douche.

Sure what they did is wrong, but he acted like a total dick about it. And i'd be pissed if a cop just grabbed me and threw me down like that for no reason.

 

I remember this, officer was fired.

 

Soooooooooooooooooo old. The cop wasn't fired but was put on suspension. Another person came forward with another video of the SAME cop doing something else. I believe his name was Riviera or something.

I'm sorry but I don't make judgements off of videos like this. It starts halfway into the incident, so we have no idea what those kids did before that to provoke him. He very well may have overreacted, but maybe the part of the incident that we don't see justifies his behavior

we have a few of those type of cops in my town. i have had my run ins with one about my car i tried to tow it its a long story

as a police officer, i can say that from what i saw, he acted inappropriately. Unless those kids were ignoring him before the video starting rolling, and they were flipping him off, or running from him or something, what he did was totally wrong.

I would have been up in that ****** face from the start.

My exact words would have been, "You have no right to talk to me like that just because your a ******* cop, You wanna fight somebody? Just because your a ******* cop dont mean you can go around screaming at kids to make your sorry ass feel good!" And if he would have done to me what he did to that kid, And i knew my buddy was taping it for proof like that. I would have punched the fat **** when he grabbed me around the neck. And i bet you anything, I would have to go to court but when the judge seen the video, They wouldn't do anything.

He may have been a punk but he did nothing wrong while talking to the cop, He didnt yell, He didnt get in his face, He didnt threaten him, Nothing. So tell me why the **** he deserved that???

Give a kid a ticket or warning on move your little dick to the next people causing problems. I am not a skater but taking kids down in a choke hold for such a thing is retarded. It's not justified and as a parent, I would sue enough that my kid would have college paid for. I hate paying the salary for ******** cops that create more problems than help.
