View Full Version : A/F gauge
mmcgee123 12-01-2008, 12:09 AM aight so hooked up the narrow band A/F gauge did what the how to said tapped into the purple wire with the white strip which im pretty sure its wrong cus its not really reading right it just stays at lean then goes up like one bar i think its the low voltage signal wire i tapped into cus i kno there is a high and a low i think im just not sure which is which does anyone kno what is the easyest one to tap into and still get a good signal
LS6Rally 12-01-2008, 09:44 AM i have no clue. i know narrowbands aren't worth anything. it should be jumping from lean to rich constantly if i remeber correctly
1badBlueberrySC 12-01-2008, 09:49 AM yes it should bounce around some.... mine (wideband and tuned LSJ) is from 14.5-15.0 at idle and cruising jumps to 11.9-12.0 at WOT and then kinda flips around as I blip the throttle
LS6Rally 12-01-2008, 09:56 AM yea but a wideband is much better than narrow. you cant tune off a narrow band.

LS6Rally 12-06-2008, 12:44 PM no one has out an oil temp gauge in. they're kinda pointless.
07blackss13777 12-06-2008, 12:46 PM ya but thank yo for the tip i found the key on my head and workin on it now ill prolly sell my temp an get air fuel
LS6Rally 12-06-2008, 12:47 PM yes that would be muchbetter. coolant temp is a nice one to have but you already have the digital readout on the dash.
