Anyone using radardetectors in On. I would like to know were you had the best luck with placement (in the car). I have one but can't really decide where to position it where the cops won't see it & where it will work the stongest.

I drive the QEW everday & since I got this car u see them (OPP) give u a second look, Like yer driving a hondah or somthing. U KNOW THE LOOK!!

 

i have mine on the bottom center portion of my windshield. Thats where i think it will work the best for me (best place to see it too). Some people put theres in the upper left part to hide it.

 

For best use w/ radar is to place it as high as possible on your windshiled like next your your rear view mirror. For best use w/ lidar and/or lazer id place it as low as possible on your windshiled. If you put it up high its hard for others to see and also you can always flip the passenger side visor down to block the view from cars behind you if theirs a cop following you. Also blends in nicly and is hard to spot.

 

my dad has his at the top of the window in his vette he never seems to get cought but then asgain its hard to notice it int he vette to begin with

 

Does matter where you put it.. The cops have radar detector detectors...

 

Not worth it.. They check way to often know.
