Need help on B&G springs asap!!!

bought B&G springs and installed em. BUT the right rear rear spring has 3 coils compressed when the car is on the ground and the left has only to coils compressed. So the rightside gap is about 1 finger width and left is 2 finger width. You can deffinitely tell the difference. Is it possible to install these upside down? These springs when not Installed has one end of the spring close together only and not the other. Is that right? Can't post pics yet cuz I'm at work. Please help!!!!!

mmm actually I didn't even see an indentation. I know they're in the front. I followed the how to on the rear springs and it didn't say any thing about an indent on the rears. I turned the springs and pulled em out. That's it

on the rear where the spring site the coil has to be in a certain spot. there is a mark there you should be able to see where it goes if you look for it. make sure it's seated properly.

Well on stock springs the label goes to the back, there is no right side up or upside down, just front and back. The bottom of the spring has to sit right in the spring seat on the axle. youve probably just got them indexed wrong

If the springs have the same opening top and bottom then it does not matter which way you install them.. Please do me a favor and look at the numbers on the rear springs and tell me if they match..

On the rear axels right? These didn't even bring instructions. The drop is supposed to be like sportlines so should I trim the bumpstops?

They're not coiled evenly. It's coiled closer on one end and not the other. I'll check the numbers. I'm like 30m from home. Thanks

Well I just looked under the car and there's like 1 finger width space between the bump stop and the other plastic thing that goes into the coil end! These can't be the right coils. That's like 1 inch"!!! Can't post pics yet. Also both springs have the same coil compression.

MIKE @ B&G -

Cesar found these #s on the packing slip... They are correct for the Cobalt, right?

80084 automotive springs qty 2
80085 automotive springs qty 2

I believe Cesar is still possibly going to check the rear springs to find the #s stamped on them.

there is a plastic piece that sits on the lower mount, make sure that is in all the way. it's hard to say what's going on without pics though.

the backs drop more than the front...

All the other drops that I see on other cars have a nice even drop on both front and rear. I've never seen a drop like mine on any other Balt unless it coilovers and if I drive like this than goodbye shox/struts or whatever they're called

my rears look lower than my fronts also. don't forget if they're brand new they'll need some time to settle

I thought the problem was the left rear was an inch higher than the right rear?????

Youre saying the issue is front is 1" higher than rear? Thats common.
