A little to large IMO. But at least you have it centered

agreed, they look a bit like a hack job since they overlap the grill bar...IMO anyways.

Tell that to the ladies!

I must admit i didnt anticipate them being as larger as they are. But the smaller ones were to small for my taste and you could see the bowtie shape behind it. The larger emblems draw attention away from the bowtie, which I think makes it look better.

Just take a dremel to the top parts of the bow tie and it won't show through....

Very nice!

I just picked up two last night from the dealer. Great to see what they will look like before I do it. Did you use a fishing wire to help get it off, or just a blow dryer ? How much of a pain in the you-know-what is it to take it off ?

REAR END
Used a credit card and a heat gun. Wasn't to bad, scrapped the car a couple of times so i suggest trying to use finishing line first. Heat the badges well and the glue turns to putty and u can pull the badges off with yours hands, but be careful If u wanna keep the badges b/c I broke a few of them. All in all it took maybe an hour just getting them off, the glue off and than waxing the surface afterwards.

FRONT END
**** simple, behind the front grill where the hood latch is you unscrew the "bowtie". It comes right off, than heat the surface, heat the badge and stick it on. Make sure to line it up cuz once it's on it aint coming off!.

Wow. Talk about instant reply!!! I was still 'admiring' your pictures
Well, thanks a lot. Didn't realize the front came off like that, and I'm not sure yet if I want to debadge the back since I have my "SSBLONDI" license plate there already... don't want overkill. But maybe ...! I spoke to a friend and he said he burnt all his fingertips doing his with just his fingers...

I think the bigger size makes it look much better b/c I wouldn't want the bowtie to show through. But alas, I don't even have an SS...sigh!

Exactly why I did it, some ppl say shave the bowtie with a dremel, even still i find that the Cobalt SS emblems are to small. Whatevers on the front of your car should be pronouced and I think I have accomplished that.
