P0503 Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) Circuit Intermittent ECM, PCM

soo...what exactly does that mean? i just had my car in the dealership to fix the thermostat. like literally just picked it up. and P0503 was on the service record along with the P0128 code.

Did I say you? You had something fixed at dealer so it's most likely them who did something.

uhm...no, i said they fixed it. i didn't say the code came on after i got it.

WAS ON THE SERVICE RECORD.... meaning its something they fixed and looked at. i want to know what it is they fixed. besides replacing my thermostat to fix the P0128

List all the parts and labor done on the service record. It will tell more.

Maybe GM dealers are charging GM for stuff they're not doing. Maybe you should have asked them what is was about.

well it was all warrentied. but i'll take another look at the record

well it looks like theyre going to be getting a call tomorrow. it was noted that the code P0503 was in the history, and being thrown at that moment. but nothing is written down suggesting that it was fixed

They can't fix something that you didn't know about. It's against the law.
