louisiana group tune
i have been talkin to the "supercharger guy" i call him at the chevy dealership in kenner, la. his side jobs include tuning and installing superchargers on cars and trucks that dont come with them, so i call him the "supercharger guy". he has tuned my car once before but he knows he can get more out of it. not to mention if you dont like your tune he is local at the dealership and he can put it back to stock for you. if anyone is interested i am goin to try and do a group tune somewhere around here not sure just yet. it actually depends on how many people are going to actually show up for it. i am looking to get it done after tax time that way when everyone gets their tax return back they can set aside a hundred dollars off the top of their return and spend the rest on whatever they need to. with that being said anyone who is interested just let me know.
we can have vince at the lone star bash doing tunes. he's the most well known and respected tuner on the boards. then you can run down the track and he will fine tune it again. we need people to put down a deposit to get him here at least 10 and theres 7 so far.
heres the response i got from him asking if its worth it if a person only has basic bolt-ons, no smaller pully or stage kit.
As for tuning, I’d say 60%+ of the people ordering tunes have bolt-ons like your car. Our tuning gains 10HP/TQ at the wheels (sometimes more), improves throttle response and improves the fuel economy, too. I’ve never spoken to anyone that didn’t think the tune was worth it.
the cost is $250 with the 50 deposit now and the 200 at the bash. this way yall get tuned and meet other balts at a yearly meet.

he does alot with hptuners, he is the manager in the service dept. i still havent talked to him since i last seen him a while ago. i cant do a dyno tune bc of my clutch is shot again. although i would rather do a dyno tune instead of goin to the bash.
cool well see if you could get with him. then we can see if everybody wants to do this. ill take care of the dyno. sucks about the clutch.
i am still waiting for some w2 forms to come back so i can go get my taxes done. as soon as i get that i will call him. i am expecting a nice return this year. he doesnt just do cobalts, he does all types too, as long as its supported by hptuners. thats how i got to talkin to him about it. one of the major things i am goin to get him to do is improve the throttle responce bc it takes a second for the throttle to activate after you smash the gas. he already told me that is easily taken care of.

let me add that we can dyno out in kenner or port allen.
