Anyone else weary bout the

the tranny mount from ZZP? I mean it looks smaller in the arm areas and its held together with a weld! I know the RSM Mount is double the price but its all 1 piece machined. Is it possible that under load or over time that, that the zzp mount could break at the welds leaving your transmission behind you on the ground?

I dont think its worth it. Your ride will be much stiffer. If you plan in using your car as a daily driver i wouldnt recommend it.

If you could see how fast the rubber in the stock mount tears you would be more worried about the stock mount breaking than the ZZP mount. This mount is very solid and thick. If i get time this afternoon i will measure how thick the different parts are.

Also if any 1 mount does break you are not going to lose the transmission. It is still bolted to the motor and there is a second mount at the back of the transmission as well.

As for the daily driver comment. My car is my driver and the mount was mildly annoying at the beginning but you get used to is. I have no complaints from the people in the car that the vibes are unbearable, but you do find out if you have anything loose inside the car pretty quick.

I just received the ZZP one and am not worried about anything. But following the link above and checking that RMS peice out, makes me think I shoulda got that one. It is really nice looking. But at the same time if it does what is supposed to do, who cares. Not going to be looking at it every day.
