Will the dealer add a spoiler on later if I wanted?

I'm in the market for a base coupe and a few of them I'm looking at have no spoiler. I like the spoiler, just the regular one, maybe the SS one. But my question is, if I purchase a Cobalt without a spoiler can I buy one from the dealer and have them add it later and/or at the time of purchase?

Absolutely YES!

We do it all the time. Basically every dealership has a few places around town they get after market accessories from. You can probably structure it into the deal. They might evebn offer a few variations, but you'll pick the Spoiler, they will have it painted to the proper color, and install it for you. A spoiler could run a few hundred bucks, so shop around, and don't be afraid to haggle with the dealer, as they make money on after market stuff too.

Try these guys out, the price looks great:
Cobalt Spoiler

Yeah most do, I was kinda pissed at my dealer though when they wouldn't change out the wheels and tires on mine. But it was a lease.

Yah, mine's going to come with the steel wheels and bolt-ons.

Anyone know about wow much to "upgrade" to the 15" or 16" aluminum wheel/tires?

I’m no a fan of stock wheels. They are definitely not worth an “upgrade”. Just buy some aftermarket wheels. They are much more unique and attractive.

Well, I was just thinking cost wise, becaue I assume it would be cheaper to upgrade at the time of purchase than to buy all new wheels and tires, because the dealer can still use the wheels/tires you switched. Where as with aftermarket you basiclly pay for you wheels/tire twice.

sell them on ebay, or use them till your tires are gone and then buy aftermarket

You can build in the new wheels and tires into the financing and include it into your monthly payment. Take the stock tires to a place that sells used tires. Then go buy some wet weather or all-season tires to put back on your stock rims (the black rims look better without the cover imo) depending on your part of the world.

Other than that, you can definitely sell them on eBay and it'll be cheaper than going to the 16" factory wheel because you'd still have the first set of wheels and tires. Dealers can always "add" to a vehicle, but they cannot sell you a vehicle that doesn't have all of the options on the window sticker.

If it says 15" steel wheels with bolt on covers, you get the 15" steel wheels with bolt on covers whether you like it or not.
