I have Duals

I have dual exhaust on my cobalt, and today im taking it off and running a 2.5 magnaflow catback should i see performance change??? i hope so it should be tighter right???

it has a good sound to it, i will sell one of them it is not a catback just a muffler, and i will sell it for ummm..... 85.00 + shipping, i paid 190 for it in january

i used a dremel and cut them then sanded them with the dremel

did you also have to repaint the ends where u sanded? did you have to take the bumper off for this?

no, what i did is pulled out the clips that hold the grill on the front and pulled the whole gray grille out.... then cut all of the plastic out of the middle and sanded it down even. then cut the cross bar out with snips then used touch up paint on the sides after i sanded the even witht the bumper... the took the mesh grille and measured it even to fit perfect. then used a rubber strip arond the mesh so it wudnt scratch the paint and. then glued the grille down and under the hood i used a rivet gun to tac it down so it wont move. worked out great......

Thats some good info, you should post something like that up in the How-To section.

yeah I don't see you really seeing much of a difference

I thought about downsizing to a 2.25" exhaust from 2.5" but I'm afraid I wont see much if any change and it'll just be a waste of money.
