just my luck

i just got my ss/tc sedan 2 months ago and just yesterday, i got rear ended. it was raining and apparently kia optimas dont stop that good from 40mph when they 1 car length behind you. her car went under my cobalt, scraping and cracking the bumper. while going under, she also crushed my exhaust and dented the bottom of my trunk pan. i feel bad because her car got the worst of it. on a good note, i am going to get the hahn downpipe and exhaust as a replacement. i am going to get quotes today and i will let you guys know what its going to cost.

Welcome to the "Cobalt TC Crash Club." I'm still fighting with the insurance company of the 110ft box truck that hit my car when it was 6 weeks old... Hopefully I can pick it up again tomorrow, for about the 7th time.

well, i see it as 4k is expensive for the little amount of damage done to my car. 10k is a lot for a balt, thats almost a total loss.

There's your answer. Sedans have a different back end to them and the coupe bumper covers don't fit.

I never knew that. I thought they would be the same. The 4 door doesn't look anywhere near aggressive enough!

Aaggressive enough for who .. Attention ****** that need huge wings that create more drag? I agree the tail lights need to be like the coupe but.. .. Might as well yell out the windows for your local police man to take you away with the huge wing ... I like this guy he shaved his to make it look even more like a grandma mobile like me...

I chuckle when I ask em you wanna rum em ... And they usually reply with a dumbfounded face ..

"Are you Serious"

LOL then unexpectedly they get they asses whopped and then procede to ask UHHH that thing gotta TURBO LOL retards ....

Apparently you have never seen a Cobalt sedan either, because the back looks the same.

The wing doesn't scream anything to cops. How your driving would scream more to them. Driving the speed limit, I am sure they will not bat an eye at you, driving 30 over going in and out of traffic will cause them to bat an eye at you.

I dunno, i much rather prefer my bumper to that one. Looks like a G6 bumper or something

I don't look at normal cobalt's. I only look if they are a coupe with a huge wing or no wing.

Sure, but the guy going 80 in a 70 in his Kia is going to get fewer "bats of an eye" than the guy in his SS coupe with the high rise, there's no denying that.
