everything that you can do for the L61 for the most part can also be done to the LAP. There are a few situations where this is not the case, but for the most part, it still holds true

The LAP already has the same intake manifold as the 2008-up LE5, so only minimal gains may come from a mani swap, if any.

Tuning.

nitrous will be most bang for the buck, however its not always on like FI. A full exhaust will give the car a better feel but wont provide dramatic hp gains. FI is one of the best ways to get the 2.2s to perform however there is that big initial cost.

I think i wont do much to mine besides intake & exhaust.
I put mine on a dynojet yesterday for a baseline. got 138whp.

an intake and full exhaust will net you a good amount , i went from 134 stock to 148hp with a CAI,2.4 intake manifold, gmpp manifold, lsj downpipe, lsj catback

how much did all that end up costing? it seems to me like if you want to get anywhere near 175+ hp u will end up spending more than if u just by a power adder of some sort. is there any super/turbo charge kits that wont void my warranty? i doubt there is, but thats wat i need

So a fully bolted L61 is putting down just under 150ish w/o a tune. What could we expect from the LAP?

Ive heard great things about the 2.4L manifold on the 2.2

Unfortunately no adding adding a turbo/supercharger to your car will void the warrenty no matter what. All of that stuff will cost around $1000 give or take a few hundred dollars depending where or who you buy it from and if you get it new or used. As for an exact amount I'm sure jpunishment will chime in

The L61(05-07 2.2L engine) will benefit from the 2.4L intake manifold but if you have an 08-present 2.2L please read the quote below.

so because i have an 08 it will hold up just as well as the 2.4 would with my 2.2?
