dumb rim question

I am thinking of getting rims. it wont void the warranty will it? cuz i know the little computers on the inside of the rim that read the PSI, and them needing to be transfered and all that to the new rims...
or should i just powder coat the stockers gun metal, or black...

thanks all

-Casey

i went to the dealer with tpms , airbag light, 4 CEL's and they didnt say anything at all

you wouldnt be voiding any warrenty, youll just have an annoying yellow light that wont go away if you dont get sensors in your new rims. and your first post is very confusing the way you worded it

well cuz my dealer does something where i have to get all my oil changes and stuff like that done there, and i get 2 "free" sets of tires. so i wasent sure if i could get the same size rims and the sensors put in those and still be able to get my 2 sets of tires.

my bad. i re-worded it.

I really love stocker rims on any cobalt SS. IMO I would just powdercoat the stockers. But I wouldn't give up my 2.4 rims for any aftermarket, well unless they were 18" SS/SC wheels haha.

thats up to the dealer to decide if they want to still give you the 2 free sets of tires with after market rimes. But if you just powdercoat the stock rims IMO they are still considered stock rims. so the dealer still gives you 2 free sets of tires.
