Can someone verify the 2006 Pontiac Pursuit GT require 16" wheels to clear the brakes
I always assumed the Pursuit GT was like the Cobalt SS; it required 16" wheels to clear the brakes. But I visited Wal-Mart yesterday and their guidebook clearly said 15" steelies will fit on the Pursuit GT. I thought perhaps this was an error, looked up the Cobalt SS 2.4L and sure enough it says those require 16".
So what's the scoop? Perhaps the Canadian model didn't get the full fledged brakes?
Since the 06 model was Canada only, it's hard to find definitive info on it.

For those that don't know what a Pursuit is...
The Pontiac G5 is a rebadged Chevrolet Cobalt compact car marketed by the Pontiac division of General Motors. It was first introduced in 2004 for the 2005 model year. For 2005 and early 2006, this car was known as the Pontiac Pursuit in the Canadian market.
