I was on my way home from work today. On the highway and the lady in front of me braked hard because the person in front of her braked hard, so I breaked hard too and I look in my rearview mirror and see the car behind me not slowing down, so I was like "Oh ****" and boom, and then I bumped into the lady in front of me. Just before impact traffic started moving again so I had left off my brake.

My neck hurts a little, but otherwise nobody was hurt. Unfortunately I got the worst of it.

As far as my front end goes, theres a little gap between my hood and PS headlight, and between the front bumper and the bottom of my PS headlight, and there's a few scuffs. Nothing compared to the back.

 

That sucks... It'll buff out though.

i had a hit like that a few months ago thats how i got my 09 ss/tc haha so in a way i was glad it happend




and it came out to like 10 grand worth of damages

Yeah I'm pretty worried about it gettin totalled. Which is a damn shame cuz it still drives fine like it did before.

I got under the back of the car today and noticed this, to me it looks like frame damage, but correct me if I'm wrong.


I opened my trunk but now it won't close again.

 

If its totalled can I have your rims lol maybe head lights as well lol

 

yea it'll take so much to straighten what they can and replace to corner panels that it'll run up a high bill and put it close to if not totaled. that sucks thou man. it wont take long to find out once a body shop takes a look at it and puts it on a rack. if by some chance it does get totaled see what it would cost to buy it back from insurance and part it out. you might be able to come out with some money from it. i know i'll buy the front lip if its not messed up.

 

Front lip is fine. However I may have a friend insterested in it already, but we'll see what happens tomorrow.
