Ok heres the run down, i got 60's, 2.8", full exhaust, CX exchanger, k&n and tuned nicely. I want to know wat i can do with this setup to give me a little more power roughly 15 -20 whp so i can beat this skittle. I dont wanna spend a ton so i was checking out the water/meth injection. I know it prevents detonation n all but will it actually give me noticeable power increase without putting her back on a dyno and tuning again? Any information would be great this kid is really pissing me off lol

 

no you wont get a noticeable power increase without tuning. the big gains with meth are seen by increasing timing. depending on the nozzle size you run, meth can give you the equivilent of 110+ octane, this allows you to increase the timing without detonation.

 

yea you need to get tuned again with meth

 

if i were you i would get meth and a 2.6 pulley and get retuned

Single pass, extra coolant reservoir, similar to option b, METH for sure, there will be a power increase.

 

get the blower ported by OTTP or..... looking at your set up.... just save up and buy a TVS and get retuned. you'd definate whoop up on that skittle then.

 

I just ate a skittle, literally. But in all seriousness I usually don't have to big of a problem with them unless they are modded to hell. In that case I still don't have to big of a problem because I just flip up the "nitrous activation" switch and then flip up the "remote bottle opener" and then flip on the "bottle heater" and then flip up the "purge" switch a few times and I am good to go. It's nice not having to leave your car to spray. No opening the bottle, no warming it with a blow torch lol, none of that crap in my car =P. 50shot for the win!
