i know that the SS cobalts and the LT/LS cobalts have different ride heights because of different springs. so what does my 2008 cobalt sport have? SS or LT/LS or something different entirely. thanks for the help. i should be ordering Eibach Sport Lines at the end of the week.(BF)

I'm pretty sure the ss/na and the ss/sc have the same suspension set up. You'll love the sportlines though.....I love mine.

Yeah, the SS/SC and SS/NA have the same suspension.

If I were you I would get the SSC springs... they have a better spring rate than the Sportlines do

... I was under the understanding the SS/NA used FE3 suspension, and the SS/SC used FE5 suspension.....

so no blueberry, not the same.

the sport replaced the ss/na so i'd imagine it'd have the fe3 suspension.

correct me if i'm wrong?

I actually bought them off Beamer. He had em and never installed them....so I get them at a good price off him. I love the ride in them actually....and it has a nice stance. If you wanna ride up one day that would be cool. I'm also a tech at a chevy place up here if you need an installation :)

Honestly I do not know 100% I know the SS/NA had the fe5... I wouldn't imagine they would have changed that! But they could have ... good ole' GM...

what?? im confused....

Nothing to be confused about, from the factory all Cobalts have the same ride height. If you measure from the bottom of the cars floor to the ground, they are all the same height off the ground. Simple.

i thought the SS's (SC and TC) were just a smidge lower? like 10mm, really minute? i'll have to find that again. I think it was someplace when i was researching before i bought the car.

No, the specs are pretty clear(maybe not in this pic, i cant figure out how to post them at work, Ill snip them at home) It would be a big typo, because its for both front and rear ride height on all years and all models....

e-mail it to me, i may be able to make it bigger.

Hmm.. thats weird, i'll start looking for that info i found long ago. I know that the bigger wheels and body make the SS look lower, and 10mm is almost nothing, i distictly remember reading it. Not disagreeing with you, well, i am, but i'm not pulling it our of my ass

Also part of the SS Supercharged are 18-inch alloy wheels and a suspension tuned for even sportier handling, with a ride height that’s lowered by 10 mm. Exterior details exclusive to the SS Supercharged include revised rocker panels; tall front fascia; and a high, deck-mounted spoiler

The SS Supercharged improves on the base on SS models' handling via a lower ride height (down a quarter inch)

both from different official car reviews, and they agree for the most part.
