Doesnt matter to me.. im in co-op right now so it doesnt affect me :)... Actually I like it because the gym is quieter than normal so i can go later in the day that I am used to.. used to have to get up and be there for like 730am so i could run through my routine and not have it take me 3hrs.. lol, I go to the University of Guelph-Humber, which is located at the north campus (Finch & Hwy 27), I never see any other cobalt ss/sc's at humber, my buddy goes to humber and he said one of his classmates has a red ss/sc. Anyways, about the strike, I'm pissed about it b/c i'm supposed to start co-op May 1st, and that's how I plan to pay for my car, hopfully my job will not be affected.

4 weeks away from graduation...words cant describe the anger.

what really pissed me off was listening to edge 102.1 one day when the students were interviewing the teachers at the picket lines. One teacher was complaining she only makes 20,000k a year and that if we want to answer to her bankers and pay her bills then fine. At first its...yea..ok 20k not much...but then they asked how many hours she works...TWELVE hours a week...quick math and that is like 30+ and hour...grrr

HAHA you are SO RIGHT man...like they totally make enough money as it is....:thumbsdow anyways i hear that there is going to be a "bargaining arbitration" since they can't sit and talk and solve it on their own...
and this move is gonna help us get back to the classrooms..........but it won't happen right away...go figure....yet as always they keep saying "we care about the students" :thumbsdow :thumbsdow :spam:

They kept feeding us the same BS too when they almost walked out in my last year at Fanshawe. Since when do students really care if a prof only teaches 12 hours / week and class sizes are less than 30? Hell my first semester the class was well over 200 people and in the end only about 30 of us ended up making it through to graduation. If I walked off the job everytime I felt like bitching about somethin' I'd be picketing every day...I also wouldn't have a job for very long if that were the case.

They should just settle on what they have now. They make good money as it is.

the only reason i really wouldnt mind going back in the summer is because it is only gonna be 7 weeks as opposed to 14 if i do the semester over again in the fall. I dont think i could handle 14 weeks again because i want out so badly...
