Choose my Short Throw!!!

I keep hearing so many different things I need a poll to get all the info together.* Please vote on actual knowledge of these (ie you've had one or have driven them, installed them...etc)
Price aside...what's the best bet for my modded 09 TC????* Poll closes in 14 days and I'll be ordering!* Thanks for the help as I've never driven a short throw (besided GM's version already in my car)

i thought TWM only fit the 2.2's i guess they finally made one for the 2.0's

neways, i have the b&m and i love it.

The hurst i believe used to have fitment issues, if that wasnt the case i know you lose ur reverse lock out.

I kinda heard that as well.* I'm leaning away from the hurst but I'm sure I'll hear bad stories about the others as well.* I'm hoping the poll shows a clearcut winner.

Not true, i have a hurst with no fitment issues, and a fully functional reverse lockout. It's user failure during installation that causes problems. Not the shifter.

However, the TWM is a very nice shifter, which i will eventually be upgrading to.

the Hurst fits great and the reverse lockout works well, but after about 3 months of having it on it kind of wiggles from side to side a little bit. Haven't really checked it out but it may just be the set screw. Looks great but if I were to do it again I would go with TWM. I just dont like the way the B&M looks good.

Yeah....seems to be a trend. Only a few people responded so far though. I'll give it a few days and see where this all stands.

dude TWM FTW. I had it on my LSJ with teflon grease instead of the white lithium grease. gave it a nice stiff shift for a lil while and loosened up a lil. I LOVED that thing. ill be switching it over to the LNF once I get my car back from the insurance companies.

but def TWM. trust me you will like the diff. even the height diff is nice.

I had zero install or functionality problems with my hurst, and it looks the best of the three in my opinion.

imo hurst is probably the best company when it comes to short shifters, but for our car i'd go with twm.

I wish there were some non-huge bearing ball options for the shift knob. They never feel right. Non-ergonomical as sh*t!
