Hahn Cold air intake
hahn makes soo products, their intake is good, it sits a lower then the stock airbox, in between the wheel well and the front bumper, if you plan on driving in a raining place with puddles, think about somthng else unless ur CAREFUL lol
The intake should not suck up water unless you drive through a foot + of standing water....
I just installed my Hahn intake on Monday. So far i've only noticed the sound difference and slightly better gas mileage. Sounds awesome and looks great but I don't think I'll notice much of a power gain untill i get it tuned.
Of course you wont because of the computer adjusting itself with the mod installed. No more than 260/260. But I do love the sound and look.

09sportredSS. i installed the intake on my car as well. Mine took 3 weeks to come from the day i ordered because they are soo filled with orders for the TC as well as other products. It is a good product and the sound is nice between accel and decel. The learn down feature controls the car to maintain 260hp and 260ft lbs no matter what bolt ons you have. that is why sometimes you see 18lbs of boost and sometimes you see 12lbs, your still making 260/260 but the computer is controlling it
And if you buy a hydro shield from injen and you'll be ok

You have any sound clips? I've been debating ordering the magnaflow setup, just not sure atm. Dont like drones while driving @ cruising speed
Somethings not right HERE!
Plus everyone from 98% of the rest of the forum including Hahn... are posting STD, corrected numbers, not the SAE real numbers that a few of us are posting.....STD reads 6-10 more whp then actual....
Hahn has seen 15-17 whp with the cool ram with his PPC which is stand-alone? I don't buy it at all........so did Hahn use one of his shop tunes to get the power?? I think so but Hahn states with the PPC... which I do not believe. Plus, a company that does nothing but intakes\cai and such, like K&N, will not make a kit that does not make more then a few hp, and they do not have a CAI for the SS\TC........ so that tells you something right there..... I really think hahns dyno numbers are from a custom Hahn tune not with the PPC .. Also, if you look, Hahn is getting those numbers on the dyno after 11-14 runs!!!!

the learn down is kind of bullshit...i suppose the reason they do that is to prevent people from modding then changing back if they do any damage to bring it in for service. The only way around the "learn down" is a tune? witch will show up when you bring it in for service..Am i correct? Its kind of pointless then to mod if your worried about your warrenty huh? Or is there a way to tune with out the ECU storing memory? Iv heard of people buying a 2nd. ECU to tune and be able to still keep the stock ECU if they need service. Can anyone tell me a price and place at were i would be able to grad an extra one? Thanks guys
