Was driving today and shifted from 2nd to 3rd and all the sudden my shifter felt loose and wouldnt go into any gears. Shift linkage snap maybe?

 

I don't think your shift linkage "snapped". It sounds like it just came "loose"......

Did you have it towed up to Ferman?

Basically it will not engage into any gears. It feels like "jello". I looked at the cables, and the left cable (thicker one) was tight [probably like it should be], and than I felt the right one (thinner one) and that had a lot of play in it. It would move left, right, up & down. Than I looked & saw that it's kinda like a ball & socket joint; the right cable is like the socket & it's out of it's ball.. So that's my diagnosis. It just needs to be regreased a little bit & reattatched.
