sounds like an ss/sc to me.. little blower whine i can here.. plus you can "see" when he really gets into the boost range, you can see how the car kinda pulls drastically for a few short seconds

 

think a 2.4 could take one?

 

i herd the whine it was a s/c that civic pulls hard in begining then gets owned!

also in the second page of comments they guy gets ont here and says that it is a cobalt ss s.c he just sucked at shifting!

 

I heard some S/C in there as well, but the mirrors threw me off a bit, and if the SS had an intake the S/C was strangely quiet.

 

whoever it is those are some wierd mirrors on the ss. im not liking them

 

thats a SS/SC you can clearly hear the super charger (i love that sound)

 

1st of all nice vid, i just dont like the mirror.....anyways one of two thing, either it was a N/A 2.4....or driver cant drive....take ur pic

if you listen you can clearly here that its a much deeper sound that a 2.0 s/c .....the 2.0 sounds nothing like that, but it has the whine....the one in the vid, i actually like the sounds of, but thats bc its more displacement, and therefore deeper throatier(if thats even a word) sound...and FYI theres not whine in that vid

Most likely an ss/sc. You can slightly here the whine of the sc, but the camera was getting alot of wind noise. Also, if the car truly is and 05 it can't have the 2.4 motor....

 

In the video it says 2005 SS. The 2.4l motor was not available in the Cobalt for 2005.

That is not even a Cobalt! Look at the mirror. It is some 80's POS, probably an import. It is likely just supercharged! It is a flat, square mirror held on by a thin wire! Not to mention the video is sped up.

I can't see any SS/SC in that video!

 

that cobalt looks like it has some work done.
