Anyone Up For A Tri-State Meet..??

Hey guys..

Just out of curiosity, from seeing alot of other people's threads, I was trying to see if there was any interest for a tri-state meet..

I'm from Pittsburgh, and I know there's alot of guys from the area, but there's also alot in Ohio/WV/VA/MD/NY as well.. I'm not sure of exactly where the best place to have it would be, however, after seeing where interest is generated, we could have a better idea.. I don't mind driving a bit.. I mean, Cleveland is only a few hour drive, and that's convenient for NY and western PA guys, as well as some of Ohio, but not so much for WV/VA/MD.. Pittsburgh would be better for them.. So we'd have to just see..

If you're interested at all, post up and we can start to see where and if it's going anywhere.. lol

Thanks!

From Pittsburgh, you can be in WV and OH in 10 minutes.. lol. VA isn't too far.. And NY is just north..

It was just a general idea.. There's still kinks to be worked out if it happens.. lol.

I can see we are referring to Tri-State as two different terms......

ME - Tri-State NY/NJ/CT

YOU - Tri-State: Three adjoining states

Proceed.............

You might confuse the real Tri-State members with the tittle..... But then again maybe it's a good thing, and the meet could end up larger than thought expected.

Those would be the "real" Tri-State members. The Tri-State area is PA-WV-OH to anyone around here.

Hahah. Yup. Actually I grew up in the "tri-state" area of PA-WV-MD. But now out where we live, it's like 25 minutes to either Ohio or WV.

Yeah, that's what I was getting at with the closeness of the areas. But I could understand how if you're not from the area how you'd be confused..

Understood. But that doesn't mean the term is being used correctly.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tri-State_Region

and even here some accept PA as included.
